Rock sculptures

Making Rock sculptures requires patience and attention to detail whilst living fully in the present moment and responding with awareness to minute changes. The rocks used come in all sorts of different sizes, shapes, colours and textures and the art form has often understandably been linked with Zen i.e. balance and stability.

One stone by itself, although it can be intrinsically beautiful, is so much more when combined with other stones and pebbles as they can be crafted into amazing art sculptures.

Rock sculptures are forms of interactive and installation art.

Michael Grab is one noteworthy artist and his website Gravity Glue shows stunning examples of his work.
