R is for Red Hot Chilli Pipers and ‘bag rock'!

I love the power and fun of this music just as I do with similar Irish and Breton music

Formed in 2002 Red Hot Chilli Pipers are a Celtic rock band from Scotland who became popular internationally in 2007 after winning a UK, BBC talent show

The band's line up features three highland bagpipers and traditional marching snare, backed by a five- to seven-piece band. The band's live show also features vocal performances and highland dancing.

The versatility of the instrument is shown in their ability to perform such diverse and contrasting music.
