Out of adversity comes creativity

A new sculpture entitled ‘Thrive’ by Daniel Popper has been unveiled at Fort Lauderdale, Florida as a testament to 2020 and all that the world has experienced and overcome.

The fibre-glass figure weighs almost 13 tonnes and is just over 9 metres tall. It can be seen opening its chest wide, revealing a forest of ferns and vegetation, representing nature breaking free into the world around.
