This talk is by Dr. Lehan Stemmet who developed an interest in finding out how how resilient people navigate through challenges, using multidisciplinary applied research. He is qualified in biochemistry and microbiology, as well as in organisational and experimental psychology.

Dr Stemmet looks at what are the attributes of resilient people

Change is inevitable... growth is optional. To grow you must see the value in yourself to add value to yourself and others”. John C. Maxwell

Research shows that action and behaviour drive our attitude and this produces change not the other way round. Good behaviour also leads to effective neurogenesis and new growth and informs how our brain is shaped. Our brain produces 1 cell every 2 minutes so we need to consider what growth and change we want to experience!
