Artist Ágnes Herczeg

Ágnes Herczeg is a Hungarian artist born in Kecskemét. Herczeg graduated from the Hungarian University of Fine Arts and studied textile conservation. She uses found wood and embroidery using only plant-based materials. Her embroidery is made using methods that include needlepoint, bobbin lace and macramé.


Herczeg's art often portrays women as introspective and at rest. The lacework is so delicate and ethereal attached to the more solid twigs etc
